Danforth Advisors appoints new CFO

She previously worked as vice president and senior analyst at Goldman Sachs

Danforth Advisors, a Massachusetts-based resource for operational accounting, financial support, and strategic CFO advisory in the life science sector, has announced the appointment of Bettina Davids as CFO.

Davids’ most recent role was as director of finance at the venture-backed financial technology start-up, BondLink.

During her time at BoldLink she established the reporting environment, implemented financial controls, and led the execution of all financial activities.

Davids said: “Danforth has become a trusted partner to life science companies at all corporate stages – whether starting up or preparing for post-public compliance – by providing valuable skill sets in a capital-efficient way.

“I’m excited to join the team and help build the operational foundation that will support the company’s next phases of growth.”

Alongside her responsibilities at BoldLink, Davids has showcased “experience and strategic thinking” across a number of key players in the industry, including as an accountant at PwC and vice president and senior analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Chris Connors, president at Danforth Advisors, said that her wealth of experience will be an asset to the firm’s “decision making and ability to scale”.
