Redw, a Southwest certified public accounting and business consulting firm, has announced that it has acquired the services of the Scottsdale-based CPA Global Tax and Accounting.
The combined group will continue to operate under the Redw company name, with Pallav Acharya, owner of CPA Global, joining Redw’s Phoenix office as principal.
Desylina Christensen, a tax professional at the acquired group, will now act as tax senior accountant at Redw.
Steve Cogan, managing principal at Redw, said: “Our decision to add the international tax expertise of Pallav and his team to Redw is part of our overall continued strategic expansion.
“We are now even better positioned to proactively advise clients on cross-border tax matters.”
Founded in 2006, CPA Global provides tax and accounting services, while specializing in international tax and business issues.
Christina Roderick, principal and tax practice leader at Redw, said: “We have been providing international tax services for many years, but this joining of forces allows Redw to expand our capabilities in this specialized area to even more effectively serve US clients internationally, as well as international clients in this country.”
