Advisory and accounting firm Withum Smith+Brown (Withum) has announced that Marc Chase has been appointed as a partner at the firm.
Tasked with providing pre and post-transaction guidance, advice, and support at the fund and portfolio company level, Chase will work with private equity sponsors across all sectors.
Chase will reportedly bring a “deep, comprehensive understanding” of the investment life cycle to the role, allowing for a value-driven approach to the acquisitions and operations sections of an investment.
Previous to becoming a staff member at Withum, Chase worked across a range of sectors, including roles at venture capital funds, professional services firms, real estate private equity companies, and private groups.
Kirk Holderbaum, director of markets at Withum, claimed that Chase is the “perfect person” to lead the group’s private equity industry consulting team in the position of partner.
He said: “He has the industry expertise to ensure world-class service to each and every client and the ingenuity to execute a cohesive vision across the firm.”
Based in New York, the role will add to Chase’s “longstanding commitment and continual servicing of the private equity marketplace”.
