Western Massachusetts certified public accounting firm, Meyers Brothers Kalicka has announced four internal promotions and two external hires.
Susan Stebbins, Lisa White, Joseph LeMay, and Kara Graves have all been promoted within the company, while Brendan Robert Cawley and Garrett Walker join from external roles.
Joining the group, Cawley has been appointed as a senior associate in the company’s taxation department.
Cawley joins from a prior position as manager at one of the Big Four accounting firms, where he was “dedicated to providing a high-quality work product”.
Welker will also join the group but as an associate in its assurance department, having previously served for seven years in the US Airforce.
Rising from CPAs to senior managers, Stebbins and White will be tasked with managing numerous staff members, as well as continuing to specialize in taxation and income-tax compliance respectively.
While also previously a CPA, LeMay has been promoted to manager, where he will run a team in the firm’s accounting and auditing department.
He said: “My approach to customer service is to be available, helpful and to be a resource. My line of communication is always open so that clients and team members always know that they can reach me when they need assistance.”
The final promotion will see Graves tasked with overseeing the group’s plans, scheduling, researching changes on standards for pension audits, and audit training as employee benefit plan niche leader.
