Apple Growth Partners (AGP), an accounting and business advisory firm, has added two professionals to its shared services team.
Cayla Allen joins the group’s creative team as marketing manager, while David Long will operate as assistant controller in the finance department.
Allen represents AGP’s first remote hire, and will provide the role with experience in digital and content marketing strategies.
As marketing manager, she will support the team in expanding its services within the firm, while also delivering its forthcoming strategy for offering clients a comprehensive marketing audit as a value-added service.
With experience in corporate accounting, Long joins AGP from Marriott International in Cleveland, where he served as director of finance and accounting.
His expertise in the field is intended to help the firm’s finance team achieve growth for APG over the next decade.
Chuck Mullen, chairman at the company, said: “Welcoming Cayla and David to our team strengthens our shared services department as we kick off our busiest time of year.
“Adding their expertise, while expanding our talent reach outside of Ohio, supports our award-winning culture where we place employees first.”
He added that the hiring of Allen shows that the team has “transitioned remotely,” due to the belief that “remote work is here to stay”.
