Investcorp acquires majority ownership in KSM Consulting

The group achieved its recent five-year investor goals in under 18 months

KSM Consulting (KSMC), a consulting firm specializing in technology, data analytics, and digital transformation has announced its majority interest acquisition at the hands of Investcorp.

A global provider and manager of alternative investment products, Investcorp will share ownership of the firm with Renovus Capital Partners.

Renovus will retain its significant minority ownership in KSMC, while also continuing to sit on its board of directors.

The acquisition follows a period of sharp growth for the Indiana-based firm, during which it met its five-year investor goals in under 18 months.

The group now operates with a network of over 300 employees across offices in Indianapolis, Columbus, Lansing, and Denver.

Mark Caswell, CEO at KSMC, said: “As we continue to expand the reach of our difference-making work, our partnership with Investcorp puts us in the best position to boldly solve new, complex challenges, while growing our exceptional team and investing in our home state of Indiana in big ways.

“We owe much of our success over the years to our incredible clients and communities, and we look forward to a new, exciting chapter of growth—together.”

KSMC is now looking to grow its workforce by a minimum of 20% in 2021, with recent acquisitions of Tempus Nova and Advocate Solutions bolstering its client base.
