RSM US, a provider of audit, tax, and consulting services has launched a group to tackle diversity, equality, and inclusion within 14 US organizations and the wider mid-market business community.
The Middle Market Collaborative for Understanding (The Collaborative) has been created with the goal to encourage discussion and action regarding diversity and inclusion across a number of industries.
The Collaborative will see insights, ideas, and best practices shared between the members at quarterly meetings.
In turn, RSM will produce resources and thought leadership based on the meetings in order to share the group’s key learnings.
Joe Adams, managing partner and CEO at RSM US, said that the firm is “committed to advancing diversity, racial understanding and inclusion”.
He added: “Throughout our own inclusion journey – and especially over the last few months – we have been moved by the positive impact intentional actions and a focus on understanding have had on our culture, our people, our clients and our communities.
“I look forward to working with fellow business leaders through The Collaborative to elevate the importance of diversity and inclusion in the middle market to drive meaningful change and create a more equitable future.”
Each of the member organization’s chief executive officer, chief marketing officer, and chief human capital officer were all invited to participate in the group.
