Grant Thornton has announced the appointment of Beatrix Bernauer as chief risk and compliance officer, in what is a new role at the firm.
Bernauer will be tasked with designing and carrying out the group’s enterprise-risk management program and practices, which include frameworks to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
