Accounting and advisory firm Weaver has announced the appointment of Emilda Santiesteban as a director at the group’s national state and local tax services practice.
Based in Dallas, Santiesteban will work with energy clients across the US on fuels and excise taxes-related matters.
Santiesteban will specialize in outsourced tax return compliance, audit defense and consulting, tax due diligence, refund identification and recovery, compliance evaluations and planning, and assistance with in-house technology solutions.

Previously tax manager at a fortune 500 petroleum refinery business, Santiesteban provides the role with over 21 years of experience in tax management.
