BlackLine, a developer of cloud-based services to automate and control the financial close process, has announced the appointment of Lisa Schreiber as chief customer officer at the group.
In the new role, Schreiber will be tasked with overseeing the firm’s strategic innovation, customer success, implementation, and support and training teams in a bid to transform the way finance and accounting departments work.
Schreiber will provide the accounting automation software company with a “360-degree view” of both customer and product insight from her experience on “both sides of the table”.

Joining BlackLine from SaaS cybersecurity firm Forcepoint, Schreiber has gained over two decades of experience in enterprise software and SaaS throughout her career.
She has previously held management roles at Charles Schwab, Apple, and Bank of America, as well as spending 10 years in executive positions at Oracle.
