Yeo and Yeo announces president and CEO-elect

Dave Youngstrum will lead the group’s nine offices and four businesses, including its Yeo and Yeo CPAs and business consultants arm

Michigan-based advisory firm Yeo and Yeo has announced the appointment of Dave Youngstrom as its next president and CEO-elect.

Commencing the role on 1 January 2022, Youngstrum will lead the group’s nine offices and four businesses, including its Yeo and Yeo CPAs and business consultants arm.

Youngstrum will also act as CEO at Yeo and Yeo’s medical billing and consulting, computer consulting, and wealth management operations.

He will replace Thomas Hollerback, who is set to retire after nine years as CEO at the company, and 38 years with the firm.

Hollerback said that Youngstrum has “unified the firm-wide audit team,” in turn ensuring the group’s professionals “work together” to serve its clients.

He added: “Under his leadership, our assurance service line revenue increased 45 percent during the past five years. These accomplishments took energy, knowledge, and patience to effectively lead and motivate others.”

A principal and shareholder at Yeo and Yeo, Youngstrum serves on the board of directors as assurance service line leader.

He will provide the position with 25 years’ experience at the group, which includes a recent responsibility of directing and strategizing its audit practice.

Youngstrum said: “While I’ve enjoyed the daily contact with our clients I have known for the past 25 years, I believe that I can make a difference in this new role, and I am excited to lead the firm into the future.”
