Mazars, an audit, tax, and advisory firm, has announced that Denis Usher will relocate to New York to act as a US partner.
Usher, who currently serves as global SEC practice leader, will now be tasked with leading and expanding the national and global SEC practices.
He will provide the role with over three decades of experience in delivering audit and advisory services to SEC and multinational, large, and listed companies.
During his career, Usher has worked alongside clients in a range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, technology, and registered investment.
Victor Wahba, chairman and CEO at Mazars, said that the group is “very excited” for Usher to join its US operations.
He added: “His multinational expertise covering a range of markets will provide our listed clients with valuable global perspective.”
Moving from Singapore, Usher acknowledged the need for “advisors with an international perspective” that exchange-listed businesses increasingly face.
He added: “I believe that my unique blend of US and international experience, will enhance Mazars’ offering in the US and allow us to deliver the insightful services our clients depend on.”
