Omnichannel lease-purchase platform Katapult has appointed Chris Towers to the role of chief accounting officer.
In his new role, Towers will lead the accounting function while working alongside Karissa Cupito, Katapult’s CFO, and the finance team and will “focus on various aspects of company growth”.
Towers has over ten years of experience in public accounting and also has experience in corporate reporting. In addition, he is a NYS certified public accountant and member of the NYS Society of CPAs and the AICPA.
Prior to joining Katapult, Towers served as the executive vice president and chief accounting officer at Newtek Business Services Corp.
Throughout his career, Towers has held positions with increasing responsibility in the financial sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Hofstra University.
