William D. James, a principal at BKD CPAs and Advisors, has been elected to the World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) board of directors.
James leads BKD’s national transfer pricing team, a division of the firm’s international tax services group.
James brings experience from serving on the board of directors at the WTC St. Louis and has provided more than “26 years of international tax consulting services to multinational companies in numerous industries”.
WTC Utah is an organization “dedicated to promoting international business and helping Utah companies grow globally”.
Designated as the international business arm for the state, WTC Utah offers trade services to help companies export and leads foreign direct investment efforts. Its services include trade missions, market research, educational events and one-on-one consultations.
James said: “I’m honored to have been invited to bring my perspective and experience to WTC Utah. I look forward to contributing to the global market In Utah.”
