HeimLantz, a regional accounting firm, has announced the appointment of Laura Macauley, COO, to its ownership group.
Macaulay oversees the group’s day-to-day operations, including client relations, finance, human resources, and strategic planning.
Providing the role with nine years’ experience at HeimLantz, Macauley has acted as COO at the firm since 2017.
With expertise in hiring and recruiting, she helped introduce the Topgrading method to the firm, in turn using its processes to unearth candidates to support the group’s growth.
Tommy Lantz, CEO at the company, said that Macauley will be “a critical part of the firm’s success” as a part of its ownership group.
He added: “Her leadership is essential; she makes sure that our team is able to handle our clients’ ever-changing needs. Laura is fundamentally HeimLantz – fully committed to making lives better.”
With over two decades of experience in management and operations, Macaulay provides an outsider’s perspective to the group by not being a certified public accountant (CPA).
She said: “I know that I can thrive as part of the leadership group because my voice and ideas are always welcome.
“I am committed to making sure that our team can serve our clients and our community in the best way possible.”
