The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) has named its board of directors set to serve from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
The board will be chaired by Thomas Murtagh, partner at BKD CPAs and Advisors, with Mary Fuller, managing partner at Shepard Schwartz and Harris, appointed as vice chairperson.
Deborah Rood of CNA Insurance and Jonathan Hauser of KPMG have been named as secretary and treasurer respectively, while Dorri McWhorter is the organization’s immediate past chairperson.
The director’s of the ICPAS hail from a number of top accounting firms across the country, including Scott Hurwitz, partner in charge at Deloitte Chicago.
Other director appointments include but are not limited to John Bird of RSM, Brian Blaha of Wipfli, Jennifer Cavanaugh of Grant Thornton, and Stephen Ferrara of BDO.
