Withum has revealed it has welcomed Dave Garvey as the leader of its Entrepreneurship + Ecosystems Practice (E+E).
Withum’s new E+E Practice focuses on entrepreneurs, their businesses and the ecosystems in which they operate. It is also responsible for inspiring entrepreneurial activity throughout the firm.
The firm revealed that for 20 years Garvey has worked closely with entrepreneurs, investors, CEOs and CFOs to “resource growth, scale and create value” spending a decade in the investment space focusing on VC, PE and debt transactions.
He also later gained over 10 years of experience leading professional services practices focused on high-growth companies and also helped build “market-leading practices” at EY and Deloitte.
In 2020, Garvey also founded Vanscend, a nonprofit that teaches entrepreneurship to people in recovery from addiction and other second-chance populations.
