KPMG has been named ‘Rising Star Partner of the Year’ by Red Hat, Inc., a leading provider of open source solutions. KPMG is being recognized for providing “innovative open source solutions” to customers in the state and local government sector.
It comes as KPMG recently formed an alliance with Red Hat to “provide and enhance” hybrid multi-cloud experiences for clients, bringing greater choice, control and freedom to “fuel digital acceleration”.
Currently, KPMG LLP and Red Hat are collaborating to help the State of Tennessee, Department of Human Services migrate its current systems to a “more modern and agile infrastructure”.
As part of the partnership, KPMG and Red Hat teams are working to help design and implement the state’s Enterprise Services Platform to support Child Care, Child Support Enforcement, Vocational Services, and other human services programs.
Joe Sangiuliano, vice president, business development and alliances, North America public sector at Red Hat, said: “KPMG has proven to be a valued partner to Red Hat, and we are pleased to honor them with this well-deserved award.”
“We look forward to our continued relationship with KPMG and helping them provide the best in open source solutions to their customers.”
