AICPA and CIMA have announced a new virtual CFO conference which focuses on “new challenges” for the finance function.
The event takes place between May 5-7, and an additional workshop will be available on May 13.
It comes as CFOs and senior-level management accountants are “confronting new risks” to their organizations, new demands for evolving business models, and new challenges for “developing diverse, highly skilled teams”.
According to the group, the conference offers a range of learning content, technology demonstrations and networking opportunities to help accounting and finance professionals “prepare for change”.
The CFO conference features sessions on numerous topics, including rethinking the workplace post-Covid, the growing focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues, and the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in recruitment and retention.
The event also offers timely updates on accounting, regulatory, technology and economic matters.
