Weaver, a public accounting and advisory firm, has appointed James Ashby as director of people engagement, learning and development at the group.
The newly created position is designed to emphasize the company’s commitment to career development opportunities and prioritization of team member well-being.
Based in Houston, Ashby will be tasked with interpreting organization capabilities, in turn translating them into effective and relevant coaching solutions.
Ashby will work alongside team members across the business, and act as a key contributor to Weaver’s internal leadership training program.

Bringing over 25 years of experience to the role, Ashby is a member of the International Coaching Federation and acts on the board of directors for the Plaza Oaks Club.
