Kurt Kuhl rejoins Brown Smith Wallace as a tax manager

Prior to rejoining Brown Smith Wallace, Kuhl was the corporate controller at Warrenton Oil Company

Kurt Kuhl has rejoined Brown Smith Wallace as a manager in the tax services practice.

The firm said Kuhl brings more than nine years of experience in public accounting and industry, with special accounting experience serving the construction, retail, professional services and startup industries.

Prior to re-joining Brown Smith Wallace, Kuhl was the corporate controller at Warrenton Oil Company.

As the corporate controller, he supervised and prepared financial statements and tax returns for multiple entities; performed intercompany rent calculations, reconciliations and eliminations; and coordinated the provision of information to external auditors, tax preparers, suppliers and retirement plan administrators.

Kuhl earned his Master of Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also involved with firm initiatives such as campus recruiting and mentoring staff.
