Hancock Askew and Co, a full-service audit, tax, accounting, and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Meredith Damm as managing director of the group’s transaction advisory services arm.
Based in Atlanta, Damm will be tasked with overseeing advisory related services, including business valuation, strategic growth consulting, due diligence, quality of earnings analyses, and litigation support services.
She will also be responsible for leading the growth and development of the practice on a firmwide level.
Michael McCarthy, managing partner at Hancock Askew said that the appointment will “allow the firm to expand and further develop the transaction advisory practice”, adding that Damm’s “strong leadership skills and expertise” will provide value to the firm and its clients.
Damm brings 28 years of experience to the role, with the majority of this spent in M&A, valuation, and strategic consulting.
She has held a number of leadership positions at companies across a range of industries, such as FinTech, automotive, and restaurant franchise concepts.
