EY has announced the appointment of Gerry Dixon as its new government and public sector managing partner.
On 1 July 2021, Dixon will succeed Michael Herrinton, who has led the practice since 2015 and will retire in June 2022.
Dixon will be responsible for the strategy and direction of the government and public sector practice, assisting government agencies in achieving their “mission success”.
Currently, Dixon serves as EY’s US-East accounts managing partner.
On his appointment, Dixon said: “Our government and public sector team has delivered unparalleled client service amid unprecedented change.
“I look forward to building on this strong track record and to leading our talented professionals as they collaborate with clients to build a better working world for all.”
