NASBA reveals 2021-22 vice chair nominee

Richard N. Reisig CPA from Great Falls, Montana will be the committee’s nominee

The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) has announced Richard N. Reisig will be the committee’s nominee for vice chair for 2021-22.

Reisig is a certified public accountant from Great Falls, Montana and has prior experience working with the professional body.

Currently, Reisig serves as treasurer and director-at-large of the NASBA board of directors and as chair of NASBA’s administration and finance committee.

Furthermore, he is a former chair of NASBA’s standard-setting and professional trends advisory and CBT administration committees.

Between July 2004 and October 2013, Reisig was a member of the Montana Board of Public Accountants, with two terms as board chair from 2008 to 2010.

As of today, he is a member of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) board of trustees and is a past-member of FAF’s Private Company Council.

On being nominated, the NASB said: “On Friday, May 7, NASBA’s Nominating Committee met to select its candidate for vice chair, 2021-22. We are pleased to announce Richard N. Reisig, CPA, of Great Falls, Montana, as the committee’s nominee.

“Rick’s involvement in NASBA and within the accounting profession is extensive.”
