CohnReznick names new Private Client Services partner

Prior to joining CohnReznick, Cindy Ostrager served as director of Tax for a New York-based wealth management firm and multi-family office that currently manages approximately $5bn in assets

CohnReznick has appointed Cindy Levine Ostrager as a tax partner in its growing Private Client Services practice.

Based in New York, Ostrager is a certified financial planner with “extensive experience” providing tax planning, strategy, and compliance services to ultra-high-net-worth clients.

The firm said Ostrager’s expertise spans across many different industries including financial services, private equity, banking, entertainment, industrial, fashion, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

It added that she is also adept at ensuring that her clients – principals of private equity firms, top business professionals, multigenerational families, family offices, senior executives of global companies, and other high- net-worth individuals – minimize their tax liability, reach their financial goals, and protect their assets.

Prior to joining CohnReznick, Ostrager served as director of Tax for a New York-based wealth management firm and multi-family office that currently manages approximately $5bn in assets. She has also served in leadership roles for a major tax, assurance, accounting, and advisory firm and a multi-family office serving high-net-worth individuals.
