WEX, a financial technology service provider, has announced the election of Nancy Altobello, Bhavana Bartholf, and Derrick Roman as new directors to the company’s board.
Altobello will serve on the audit and leadership development and compensation committees, Bartholf will join the audit and technology committees, whilst Roman will serve on the audit and finance committees.
Altobello was most recently the global vice chair, talent of Ernst and Young where she was responsible for the firm’s global talent and people strategy from July 2014 to June 2018.
Prior to that, she held a number of senior positions at EY, including the Americas vice chair, talent, managing partner for Northeast region audit and advisory practices, and the managing partner for the North American audit practice.
Bartholf recently became the global head of strategy for sales and business development for Microsoft Solutions at Microsoft Corporation.
In addition, from 1997 until his retirement in September 2020, Roman served as an audit, consulting and senior client relationship partner for the international accounting and consulting firm PwC.
He brings with him extensive experience in financial accounting, SEC reporting, internal controls, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity offerings, initial public and secondary offerings, asset-backed financings, and the implementation of accounting and auditing standards.
