Baker Tilly promotes Michael Patti to healthcare leader

In his new role, Patti will direct the strategy and operations of the practice, serving life science startups to international insurance corporations

Baker Tilly US, the advisory CPA firm, has announced the promotion of Michael Patti to lead the firm’s healthcare practice.

The department is tasked with combining management and technology consulting with financial sustainability for organizations across the health plan, provider, and life sciences areas.

In his new role, Patti will direct the strategy and operations of the practice, serving life science startups to international insurance corporations.

He will lead a team of healthcare specialists, with expertise in the planning, development, and implementation of arrangements among healthcare providers, sponsors of managed care delivery systems, and life sciences and technology organizations.

He said: “Market forces, including the inevitable shift to value-based care and the power of biopharma and medtech startups, is disrupting the healthcare market.

“We have the consulting and technology expertise to enable healthcare organizations tackle their toughest challenges and prepare for what’s next.”

Patti provides the role with over 18 years of experience at the firm, having joined Baker Tilly in 2003.

Based in Chicago, he most recently led the company’s healthcare consulting group, where he focused on transformational initiative in healthcare insurance companies.
