Wipfli has announced the appointment of Bill Boucher to the position of industry leader for the firm’s national manufacturing and distribution practice.
Boucher brings over 25 years of experience providing manufacturing and distribution companies with future-focused consulting services across IT, HR, finance, operations, automation and digital innovation.
In his role, the firm said Boucher will oversee Wipfli’s manufacturing and distribution practice, which currently has 79 partners and principals serving over 3,500 manufacturing and distribution clients across the U.S.
Boucher, who joined Wipfli as a partner in January 2021, will be responsible for leading the overall vision, strategy, operations and growth of the practice, as well as partner and associate development.
Boucher said: “When I joined Wipfli, I saw an exciting opportunity to bring my past experience and solution-oriented insights to help the firm continue to grow.
But what really sealed the deal for me was Wipfli’s culture and values. In talking to firm leaders, I saw that collaborating and listening to new ideas were foremost on their minds.
“I’m excited to grow our manufacturing and distribution practice and give our associates the tools they need to build their experience so they can focus on what they do best: serving our clients.”
Boucher holds an MBA from Georgia State University and is a licensed CPA. He succeeds current manufacturing and distribution practice leader, Ronald Hafner.
