Weaver, a national certified public accounting and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Maria Tsennykh as a managing director at its New York City office.
Tsennykh brings over 15 years of experience in valuation, litigation, investigations, and audit to the role, including time spent serving as an expert witness.
Prior to joining the group, she has worked with Fortune 500 companies on applied-economic, financial and accounting issues.
She has also directed dispute and investigative assignments, including forensic accounting, fraud, financial reporting, white-collar crime, and corporate governance investigations.
David Bennett, executive partner at the firm’s New York office, said that Tsennykh will be “instrumental” in further building the brand in the “key geographic market”.
He added: “Weaver has exceptional forensics and valuation teams that will be enhanced by Maria’s strong knowledge and experience.
“Her familiarity working with a wide variety of organizations in the US and abroad, along with her experience in valuation, litigation and investigative services are benefits that we are pleased to add to our team.”
Tsennykh has more than 11 years’ Big Four experience, as well as previously serving law firms, banks, private equity, institutional investors, and corporate clients across the globe.
