Walston Advisory Firm announces CHC acquisition

While WAF will continue to provide CHC’s clients with the services they have already been receiving, it is also set to add its own additional offerings

Virginia-based Walston Advisory Firm (WAF) has announced the acquisition of Craig Hancey and Co (CHC) for an undisclosed sum.

While WAF will continue to provide CHC’s clients with the services they have already been receiving, it is also set to add its own additional offerings.

Firstly, the group will provide tax preparation and tax filing services for both CHC’s individual and business clients.

Moreover, WAF’s service lines will extend to payroll services, forecasting services, CFO services, business consulting, and IT consulting services.

While Craig Hancey, the owner of CHC, is set to retire, he will stay on the board of directors in an advisory role to assist WAF in the transition period.

Kerby Leavitt and Matthew Morris will also join WAF to provide the group’s clients with continued relationships following the acquisition.
