PKF O’Connor Davies’ CHRO wins NJCPA diversity award

Dawn Perri, the firm’s CHRO since 2016, has been ‘specifically recognized’ for the monthly heritage and cultural celebrations initiative she hosts at the firm, as well as her implementation of other company-wide DEI initiatives

PKF O’Connor Davies, has announced that Dawn Perri, the firm’s chief human resources officer (CHRO), has been named a 2021 Ovation Award winner in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion category by the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). 

The category honors those who work “passionately” to make the accounting and finance profession fair and promote initiative and change, regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion, age, gender, disability status, or other dimension of diversity.

Perri, the firm’s CHRO since 2016, has been “specifically recognized” for the monthly heritage and cultural celebrations initiative she hosts at the firm, as well as her implementation of other company-wide DEI initiatives. 

She said: “Since I launched my career in human resources over 25 years ago, I’ve believed the best workplaces are those that foster collaboration, fairness, and respect for all people. By pioneering various DEI initiatives over the course of my tenure with PKF O’Connor Davies, I’ve worked to deepen those values across the firm.”
