RSM’s leader of culture, diversity and inclusion, Tracey Walker, has been awarded the ‘President’s Award’ from the National President of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
AGA’s President’s Award recognizes individuals who have made “outstanding contributions” to furthering AGA’s mission and making a “positive impact on its chapters, members and the profession”.
Walker was presented the award in recognition of her role as co-chair for the AGA’s inaugural council for the advancement of women.
In addition, Walker also developed and hosted the first unconscious bias training for the 17-member national governing board and continues to lead the annual ‘Professional Development Training Women’s Forum’ and ‘Women’s History Month’ programming.
Joe Adams, managing partner and CEO with RSM, said: “Tracey works tirelessly to make sure that our firm is an inclusive place where all of our people feel a sense of belonging, and that our profession is leading the way in terms of diversity and inclusion.
“We are thrilled that the AGA has recognized Tracey for her significant contributions.”
