CironeFriedberg, a CPA firm that serves the middle market, has promoted Tammy Maguire to principal at the group.
Currently director of financial services and CFO at CironeFriedberg, Maguire also provides outsourced CFO and controller services to the company’s clients.
She brings over 20 years of experience across both public and private practice to the new role, having worked across the two sectors in a variety of industries.
Through this “combination of professional experience”, Maguire provides expertise in streamlining systems for more efficient workflows while providing key business metrics for the firm’s clients.
Tony Cirone, managing partner at the company, said that Maguire’s promotion to principal is “well-deserved”.
He added: “Her commitment to client service and problem-solving acumen are critical factors in the success of our client business owners and the growth of our Outsourced CFO and Controller services.”
A member of the Connecticut Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, Maguire received the 2016 ‘CFO of the Year’ award by the Hartford Business Journal.
