Weaver promotes two in its tax services team

Cory Bunyard has been promoted to partner-in-charge of their Houston tax services and Laura Lambert to partner-in-charge of South Texas assurance services.

Weaver has announced the promotions of Cory Bunyard to partner-in-charge, Houston tax services and Laura Lambert to partner-in-charge, South Texas assurance services.

In their new leadership roles, Bunyard and Lambert will “advance Weaver’s strong team culture of integrity and ensure service quality within their respective practice groups”.

Bunyard, with 15 years of experience helping companies comply with tax requirements and minimize tax liabilities, assumed his new role on June 1, 2021. 

His work focuses on tax compliance and consulting services for corporations, S corporations and partnerships in several key industries including construction, manufacturing, engineering and real estate; additionally, Bunyard has served as a personal tax advisor to individual business owners. 

Lambert, whose promotion is effective November 11, 2021, has more than 16 years of experience and focuses on providing audit, review, compilation, attestation and business advisory consulting in the government, broker-dealer and investment management/hedge fund industries.
