Eisner Amper has announced that physician and former government official Dr. David Shulkin will be an advisor for the firm’s healthcare services group.
Shulkin’s role will be to engage the U.S. veterans affairs, centers for medicare and medicaid services, department of defense, and the national institutes of health to provide guidance from the private sector on change management.
He will also host a podcast series, focused on private sector innovation in the federal sector.
Appointed by two former U.S. presidents, The firm said Dr. Shulkin “has extensive experience” with government relations and health care systems. He was also a former secretary of the U.S. department of veterans affairs and an under secretary of health for the U.S. department of veterans affairs. He is currently the president of Shulkin Solutions.
