Bain and Company have announced the appointment of Edy Widjaja as new leader of the firm’s Southeast Asia financial services practice.
Widjaja has more than 20 years of experience in consulting, industry and academia in the US, Western Europe and Southeast Asia, with significant experience advising clients in financial services sectors such as banking, insurance, asset management, consumer finance and financial investors.
In addition, Bain and Company said Widjaja’s expertise spans across strategy, performance improvement, distribution excellence and change management.
Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Widjaja worked as a corporate venturing manager and R&D project manager at NV Bekaert SA, Belgium and is now set to be based in the firm’s Jakarta office.
